Crossway Community Thrift Store is a non-profit organization based in Canmore which provides its customers with a great place to shop for affordable necessities such as furniture, clothing and much much more. The thrift store is a place where we want to display the practical love of Christ to our community.
As a result, it is not only a store, but the money spent at the thrift store goes back into the community. By shopping and donating you help fund local shelters, food banks, and many other relief organizations. Two of our biggest projects are the Jacket Frost and Back to School programs which have also been helping families for more than 19 years.
The Thrift Store is a social hub in Canmore, where on any given day, friends and neighbors meet while dropping off donations or shopping. We are well-regarded as part of the Bow Valley's recycling efforts, in accepting your saleable items that might otherwise end up in the landfill, and are grateful to a very supportive community which provides us with fantastic items which we can offer as a "green" alternative to other retail shopping. We have had visitors from as far away as Europe, from the southern U.S and Asia; be sure to put us on your "things to do in the Canadian Rockies" list!
